Frequently asked questions
How much does website development cost?
Naturally, the final price depends on the scope and specific requirements of your project.
For smaller websites with a few pages, where requirements are clearly defined, I offer an efficient solution with quick turnaround. I have most of the necessary components ready, allowing the project to be completed within a few days for a pre-agreed fixed price, typically starting from 10,000 CZK (approximately £350 / $450 USD / 400 EUR).
For larger and more complex projects, where the scope might evolve during development and the time commitment isn't precisely definable upfront, I prefer a flexible hourly rate. This ensures transparency and fairness for both parties.
For a more precise estimate, I recommend a contacting me, so we can consider your specific requirements and propose the optimal solution.
How much does it cost to run a website?
Website operation involves regular costs, which depend on their complexity and your needs.
The basis is a domain and web hosting. Domain registration (e.g. your-company.cz) typically costs hundreds of crowns per year (e.g. 150-400 CZK). I am able to provide web hosting costs, i.e. space on the server where your website is stored, starting at 250 CZK per month (approximately 10 EUR) for simple websites.
In addition to these basic items, I also offer the option of regular monthly maintenance. This includes ensuring the security, functionality and compatibility of the website with new versions of browsers and systems. This can range from a 100 CZK per month (approximately 5 EUR) for the smallest websites.
How long does website development take?
The duration of website development varies significantly depending on its complexity and required functionalities.
Simple Websites (a few pages): For smaller projects with a few static pages, where I can leverage existing structures and primarily focus on design and content integration, a website can be launched within one week. This timeframe is, of course, influenced by the speed of your feedback and approvals.
Extensive and Complex Websites: For larger and more complex projects that require specific features (e.g., user accounts, integrations with external systems), I prefer to divide the work into phases. This allows for continuous delivery of functional parts and more flexible project management. The duration then depends on the scope of each phase and the overall complexity of the solution. I quote and plan each such project individually.
Can i have design from somebody else?
Yes, absolutely! If you already have a design created by another designer, I'd be happy to bring it to life. My main focus will then be on high-quality development, ensuring your website is fully functional, responsive, and performance-optimized according to the provided design.
